LA BIOGRAFIA del ARTISTA

    Donald R Ricker  fue llevada 6/5/53 en Trenton, NJ. Él graduó BFA en 1974 de la Universidad de Syracuse (NY) del  artes visual donde él majored en Estudios Experimentales.

    Después de cuatro años que trabajaban en Nueva Inglaterra para los clientes comerciales, Ricker trabajó su manera a través del país a Alaska pintando muestras.  Desde llegar en Anchorage en 1978, él ha continuado sirviendo una amplia base de clientes comerciales con los gráficos y las muestras.

    Durante los an'os noventa, ponga vuelto a la pintura y a la escultura como desbloquear de las demandas y de la naturaleza repetidora del trabajo comercial. Sus pinturas eran grandes en el cuarto vivo, pero modesto comparado a las muestras. Sus temas incluyen generalmente nudes como participantes. Saturado lujosamente con color y unconflicted por cualquier disdain para la revista ilustrada, cada pintura es el resultado de muchas horas del pensamiento y del trabajo.

     El esfuerzo es llenar sus pinturas de una potencia visual que pueda competir con éxito para la atención con vídeo.

    En mayo de 1997, ponga sufrido un movimiento isquémico y un daño parcial del cerebro de los cuales él tenga puesto que recuperado sobre todo. Un gráfico hecho en aquella 'epoca viajó con el VSAW ningún objeto expuesto de los límites VII.

    En diciembre de 1999, ponga era participante en el segundo Biennale Internazionale dell'Arte Contemporanea en Florencia, Italia. Lo honraron para ser concedido un de 5° Premio Lorenzo il Magnifico en la pintura. Esta convocación maravillosa de 500 artistas de más de 30 países exhiliarating e inspirational. Ser reconocido entre este grupo por cinco países, el jurado de seis miembros era
una experiencia irreal, muy gratificante.

    Desde ese tiempo, él ha exhibido en la fundación de Orensanz en NYC, vía el Internet en el Whitney 2000 bienal, entre otros lugares.
